Using the cable provided in the manual, the smartphone becomes a heading-up sensor for the fishfinder, which can be used with fishfinders capable of NMEA0183 input. It is set to a baud rate of 4800. Please read instructions carefully before purchasing. Operation has been tested with garmin gpsmap923xsv.
